Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Rank Up Games LLC is an independent game studio. We develop our own games and provide game design, development, and support services to partners.

This policy covers the Rank Up Games website, War In Arms: Prime Forces (WIA), our game invitation pages, and business and player-support communications. Other Rank Up games may also link to this policy. Features and providers can differ by game version, platform, region, and configuration.

When we handle information solely on a partner's instructions for commissioned work, that partner's privacy notice and our agreement with them also apply.

2. Accounts and information you provide

When you email us or contact our support or community channels, we receive your contact details, message, and any files or other information you choose to send. Business inquiries may include your name, organization, role, and project requirements.

The website does not ask you to create a website account or enter payment-card information. Account and gameplay information associated with a game is separate from simply browsing this website.

WIA uses Rank Up account services. Available sign-in paths include Apple, Google Play Games, and guest access. Where email/password access is offered, our services handle the login email and password. Platform sign-in passes provider tokens or authorization codes, provider account identifiers, and available profile or email information to our account services.

Guest access submits a device identifier and an installation-specific salt. Login diagnostics also use a hashed device identifier. These are different data flows; guest access is not anonymous merely because a display name or email is not required. Game settings, sign-in information, and terms-acceptance state can also be stored locally on your device.

3. Device, gameplay, and social information

Website requests disclose technical information to our hosting and network providers, such as your IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time. Technical logs may be used to deliver the website, diagnose faults, and detect misuse.

Game connections and diagnostics can include IP addresses, account identifiers, app version, platform, device model, operating system, graphics and processor information, and memory size. We use these records for authentication, compatibility, troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention.

Game services process match participation, teams, scores, kills, deaths, assists, rank and progression changes, and gameplay events. Detailed match events may include actions, items, timestamps, actors, targets, and in-game positions.

Text chat sends message content, sender account identifiers, player names, and channel information to game services and intended recipients. Player names, avatars, friend status, and relevant match activity may be visible to other players through the features you use. Reports and moderation records can include account identifiers, reasons, comments, status, and enforcement history.

4. Advertising, analytics, diagnostics, and messaging

WIA includes Unity LevelPlay and Adverty advertising integrations. Their software may process device or advertising identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location inferred from network information, ad delivery and interaction information, and technical diagnostics. Availability and data use depend on the platform, SDK settings, and permissions.

WIA includes Unity Analytics and Cloud Diagnostics for usage, diagnostic, and crash information. Google Firebase Analytics and Cloud Messaging components can process app-instance or installation identifiers, device and app information, usage events, and messaging tokens. The information depends on the service that is active; not every messaging or advertising feature is available in every build.

Device settings may offer advertising-ID, tracking, and notification controls. Their effect depends on the device and provider. We do not promise that turning off personalized advertising stops all technical or contextual-advertising processing.

If you test WIA through TestFlight, Apple and Rank Up receive crash logs and usage information. Feedback you submit can include screenshots, comments, and information visible in them.

5. Purchases and transaction verification

Where purchases are available, Apple or Google processes the store transaction under its own terms and policies. Unity's purchasing components and our game services handle information needed to verify and fulfill the purchase.

Verification may include your game account identifier, store, product, transaction or original-transaction identifiers, receipt or signed transaction data, purchase token, and purchase status. RevenueCat may receive account, transaction, receipt, and device information when its verification or store integration is configured.

Payment-card details are handled by the relevant payment platform; the website does not collect them. We can receive transaction information without receiving your full card details.

6. Invitations and referrals

When you open a game invitation, we send the supplied invite code to the selected game's referral service to check its status. A valid invitation may display the referrer's player name. An invite code can be associated with a player account, and people who receive the link may see that name.

If you follow an invitation's Google Play download link or scan its QR code, the destination includes the invite code as a referral parameter. Google Play receives that link information. Opening or checking an invitation on this website does not itself create a game account or redeem a reward.

Where a game or invitation client submits referral activity, records can include the code, timestamp, platform, screen resolution, language, time-zone offset, and processor count. The website's invitation check sends the invite code; it does not run a separate device-fingerprinting script.

7. YouTube and other external services

Our trailers use YouTube API Services. The website’s Cookies and media banner lets you accept or reject optional YouTube media after reviewing this policy, the YouTube Terms, and Google’s Privacy Policy. Until you accept, we do not load the YouTube API or embedded player. Accepting enables muted autoplay when the trailer is visible. With reduced motion, the poster remains available instead.

We save your accepted or rejected choice in this browser’s local storage under rankup-cookie-choice-v1. It applies across this website until you change it, clear browser storage, or we replace the consent version. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner. Rejecting optional media removes embedded players. When browser storage is available, this change also applies in other open tabs on the same website. A local poster can still open YouTube in a separate tab under YouTube’s own policies.

Google may receive your IP address, browser and device information, and interactions with the player. Embedded services may use cookies or similar browser storage. Using YouTube's privacy-enhanced player does not mean that playback shares no information. Google's Privacy Policy explains its processing and controls.

If browser storage is unavailable, the banner explains that your explicit choice applies only until that tab reloads. Closing the banner does not grant permission. Rejecting media does not delete data already received by Google or remove its existing cookies; use browser and provider controls for those. This website choice does not control advertising or analytics permissions inside WIA. We use player events in the browser to display and control the trailer. The website does not request access to your YouTube account or collect your YouTube password.

Discord, app stores, and other linked services operate under their own privacy policies. Information you submit there is also handled by those providers. Browser controls can limit cookies and storage, although some embedded features may stop working.

8. Why we use and share information

We use information to operate the website and requested game features, check invitations, answer support and business inquiries, provide agreed services, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

We also use game, transaction, advertising, analytics, and diagnostic information for the functions described above, including purchase verification, game operation and improvement, advertising delivery and measurement, and account protection.

Relevant information may be processed by providers that support hosting, communications, and game or referral infrastructure. We may also disclose information when you ask us to, when necessary to comply with law or protect lawful rights, or as part of a business transaction subject to applicable safeguards.

The applicable legal basis depends on the activity and local law. It may include providing a requested service or contract, meeting legal duties, legitimate interests in operating and protecting our services, or consent where required. A contract or terms acceptance does not replace a separate consent required by law.

9. Retention, security, and international processing

We keep account, progression, transaction, support, analytics, and security information for as long as needed for the purposes described here. Relevant factors include whether an account or request remains active, support and dispute needs, fraud prevention, and applicable legal, tax, or contractual obligations.

Account deletion may involve identity verification and a waiting period. Some records may need to remain for legal, security, or dispute purposes, and information held by independent platforms follows their own retention rules. An invitation's expiry or a game's deletion request does not by itself establish deletion from every analytics, logging, or provider system.

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and the risks involved. No internet transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security. We and our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, subject to applicable legal requirements.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

Contact info@rankupgames.com to ask about information we hold about you or to request access, correction, or deletion. Tell us the relevant game or service and enough information to locate the record. Do not send your password. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to a copy of your information, restriction of or objection to processing, withdrawal of consent, or opt-out of targeted advertising or processing treated as a sale or sharing of personal information. You may have a right to complain to a privacy regulator. Exceptions or record-retention duties may limit a request.

Ask us about access, deletion, or a copy of your game information by email, even if your build has no in-game control for that request. Available account-export features do not necessarily include every diagnostic, moderation, or third-party record. Deleting a game account can remove its progression and virtual inventory; it does not delete your independent Apple or Google account.

For information processed independently by an advertising or platform provider, the provider's linked privacy information describes its own request channels. Withdrawing consent does not change processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Use email for requests that involve personal information. You do not need to post private account details in a public Discord channel to contact us.

11. Children and younger players

WIA is a tactical combat game. Only use it if you meet the age and parental-permission requirements of your platform and applicable law. A store content rating describes the game and is not, by itself, an account-eligibility rule.

We do not currently provide a verifiable parental-consent enrollment process. Do not use the game or provide personal information where that consent is legally required but cannot be obtained through an available process.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in circumstances that require parental consent, contact info@rankupgames.com. We will review the report and take the steps required by applicable law.

12. Changes and contact

We will update the date above when this policy changes. We will provide additional notice or request consent where applicable law requires it. A policy update does not remove rights you have under applicable law.

The organization responsible for this policy is Rank Up Games LLC. Send privacy questions to info@rankupgames.com.
